Thelonious Monk. He was a very strange, eccentric, and cool character — completely unique in every sense. Sometimes you just have to watch to fully enjoying listening.

Man, is he great. The sax looks like Charles Mingus to me, but I don’t know if they acctually co-laborated. Where’s the piece from? Coltrane, Davis, Monk, Mingus are my four black apostles of jazz. Love them deeply!
The Sax is Charlie Rouse. Yes, I love the four, as well as Eric Dolphy.
